Here is our Design / Build Process for custom residential and commercial PV Power Systems:

• First Client Meeting:
  Discuss application with client, review site plans (if available), provide client with an overview of services offered by OkSolar.com, provide client with examples of past projects similar to desired application, provide additional details on OkSolar.com Design / Build Process.
   
• Project Proposal and Budgetary Estimate: OKSOLAR.COM provides client with a written proposal indicating the scope of work associated with the installation and detailed information on the system and its operation. Cost estimates are provided for OKSOLAR.COM design services, major system components, installation materials and installation labor.
   
• Project Initiation:
  Client elects to proceed with project and accepts OKSOLAR.COM proposal. A deposit is placed on the major system components and OKSOLAR.COM begins the design and procurement OkSolar.com. A second site evaluation is scheduled.
   
• Second Site Evaluation:
  OKSOLAR.COM takes as-built measurements of the site and incorporates information into CAD system. If new construction, OKSOLAR.COM incorporates details from existing building plans. OKSOLAR.COM performs a complete system design, compiles a system Bill of Materials, generates site layout, electrical and mechanical CAD drawings.
   
• Installation:
  Once materials are sourced, a building permit is acquired and the installation is scheduled with the client. If required, utility documents are prepared by either the system owner or OKSOLAR.COM, or both, and submitted to client's utility company. Installation is performed.
   
• System Commissioning:
  After installation is complete and all electrical inspections have occurred, OKSOLAR.COM tests various system components for proper installation and safe operation, commissions the system and programs the inverter to operate as desired.

• Customer Walk Through:
  A full walk through of the system is done prior to or after commissioning. System operation guidelines and maintenance issues are addressed with client. The System Operations Manual is presented and a maintenance contract is offered to the client (semi-annual maintenance for systems incorporating batteries or annual maintenance for systems without batteries).
