FAA L-853 markers
FAA L-853 markers may be used to delineate runways & taxiways. IQAirport supplies the product
of an FAA certified manufacturer Tested & Certified per FAA AC 150/5345-39
Retroreflective means the material reflects a significant amount of the light back in the direction of the light source. The colored bands provide daytime marking and may also function as snow markers.
The markers consist of a 2.25-inch diameter colored flexible polyethylene tube with bands of colored retroreflective material.
To meet FAA specifications, the marker must have four bands on a tube at least 24-inches high.
