MMU-16LE SmartMonitor™ LCD Series
The MMU-16LE series Malfunction Management Unit (MMU) exceeds all the requirements set forth in the NEMA Standard TS2-2003, Part 4. The model MMU-16LE includes two large area Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) for a continuous Full Intersection display. A separate graphical LCD provides a menu driven interface to status, signal voltages, configuration, event logs, and the integrated context sensitive Help System. The built-in Setup Wizard ensures that the enhanced monitor programming is done quickly and accurately, even by a novice. The industry first Diagnostic Wizard automatically pinpoints malfunctioning signals and offers trouble shooting advice. An EIA232 port is used to communicate with a Personal Computer using field proven EDI ECcom™ software. Monitor status, event logs, and Signal Sequence History logs are stored in nonvolatile memory for diagnostic and archival purposes.

The model 2010ECL is a 210ECL monitor configured for operation with a 2070 Controller Unit. It provides all the features of the 210ECL model as well as minimum flash capabilities for 2070 boot capability. The 2010ECL series monitor is compatible with 170, 179 and 2070 Controller Units. It is a recommended replacement for the 210E and 210ECL monitor in new installations using 170 or 2070 Controller Units.

CMU-212 Series
The EDI CMU-212 Cabinet Monitor Unit is intended to operate with the AMU-214 Auxiliary Monitor Unit to form a compact and modular cabinet malfunction management system for the ITS Cabinet. The CMU-212 functions as the main cabinet fault monitoring component. It offers the broadest fault coverage of any monitoring system and incorporates full event logging and status reporting, providing the signal technician with powerful monitoring and trouble-shooting tools to ensure that cabinet malfunctions are detected, diagnosed, and repaired with confidence.

The CMU-212 meets all requirements of the ASHTO/ITE/NEMA Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Standard Specification for Roadside Cabinets Version 01.02.15, as well as the Caltrans TEES, August 2002 requirements. CMU-212 32 channel Monitor Unit

AMU-214 Series
The EDI AMU-214 Auxiliary Monitor Unit is intended to operate with the CMU-212 Cabinet Monitor Unit to form a compact and modular cabinet malfunction management system for the ITS Cabinet. The AMU-214 provides the voltage and current data acquisition function of the cabinet monitoring system. Up to four AMU-214 units can be installed in ten different cabinet configurations with each CMU-212.

MonitorKey™ Programming Tool
The EDI MonitorKey™ CMU Data Key Programming Tool provides the programming interface between a Personal Computer and the Data Key used to store configuration parameters in the CMU-212. The compact tool connects to a serial port of the PC and uses the MonitorKey™ Windows based software to read, write, and verify the contents of the Data Key. NEMA TS-2 Bus Interface Unit (BIU)

Model 700: The model BIU-700 Bus Interface Unit (BIU) performs the interface between Port 1 of the Controller Unit and the Loop Detector Racks, Terminals and Facilities, and other devices in a NEMA TS-2 Cabinet Assembly. Its functions include controlling load switch outputs, detector resets, communicating with Inductive Loop Detectors and other devices, and the conditioning and conversion of Terminals and Facilities and Loop Detector call inputs for the Controller Unit.

Model 720: The model BIU-720 Bus Interface Unit (BIU) adds an additional port for communicating with rack devices meeting the NEMA TS2-2003 BIU2 requirements.

Model 730: The model BIU-730 Bus Interface Unit (BIU) adds an additional port for communicating with rack devices meeting the NEMA TS2-2003 BIU2 requirements but electrically compliant with EIA-232 electrical standards.

Model 740: The model BIU-740 Bus Interface Unit (BIU) provides an EIA-232 port on the front panel for custom applications.

SIU-218: The model SIU-218 Serial Interface Unit (SIU) performs the interface between Serial Bus #1 of the Advanced Controller Unit (ATC) and the Input Assembly, Output Assembly, and other devices in an ITS Cabinet. Its functions include controlling load switch outputs, detector resets, communicating with inductive loop detectors and other devices, and the conditioning and conversion of loop detector call inputs for the ATC. The SIU-218 Serial Interface Unit meets all requirements of the ASHTO/ITE/NEMA Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Standard Specification for Roadside Cabinets Version 01.02.15, as well as the Caltrans TEES, August 2002 requirements.

Detector Power Supplies - Rack Mount

PS-150: The PS-150 four channel power supply is built on international format cards with gold edge connector fingers. Each power supply channel will nominally supply 24Vdc at 0.25 Amp when connected to the 115 VAC line. Output current is rated to 0.5 Amp per output over temperature.

PS-100: The PS-100 four channel power supply is built on international format cards with gold edge connector fingers. Each power supply channel will supply 24Vdc at 0.25 Amp (1.0 Amp total) when connected to the 115 VAC line.

PS-050: The PS-050 two channel power supply is built on international format cards with gold edge connector fingers. Each power supply channel will supply 24Vdc at 0.25 Amp (0.5 Amp total) when connected to the 115 VAC line.

Each AM/II controls up to four ports, but can be networked to link as many as 32. For storage of over 65,000 input devices, names, and events, modular memory can be upgraded in the field.


All data memory is non-volatile EEPROM with data retention in excess of 10 years. Memory modules are available in four capacities:

Software:

 AccessBase software is an easy-to-use Windows-based package for networking multiple controllers, remote devices, and portals within an access control system. It can be used for PC-based control of multiple AM/II or Telephone Entry controllers (Models AE-1 and AE-2), as well as the portals and remote devices that they control.
Up to eight controllers can be networked through AccessBase and each controller can be used to control up to six remote devices (48 in all) and up to four portals (32 in all). Linear's AM/II multi-door controller and AE-1 or AE-2 telephone entry systems can be programmed via dial up or direct connection using either AccessBase or Account Manager.

Account Manager is a limited capability Windows based program that allows the user to perform most functions associated with a single node application. Account Manager DOES NOT support networking of multiple controls.
