1.
This image shows an interior
scene, at night. The only
illumination is the Magnum
Flashlight (3 D cell,
halogen bulb). As the
subject moved around the
room, the light from the
flashlight occasionally
bounced off bright surfaces.
This backscatter provides
the only light on the
subject’s face. In this
image, the light is
reflected off the side of
the computer monitor shown.
Lux levels varied from 80
lux in the center of the
flashlight beam, 10 lux just
off center but still in the
beam, to 0.3 lux on the
subject's face. Camera:
IQeye301, lens 12mm Computar
megapixel F1.4. LIGHTGRABBER
set at 4X (2X is factory
default, the main difference
between the settings is
increased digital frame
integration). |
2.Exterior
scene, taken at night at a public
high school. Illumination is mainly
from exterior industrial flourescent
lights. Notice the parking lot in
the background, where sodium lights
cast a yellow glow on the parking
blocks. Lux levels not recorded.
Camera: OKIQeye, lens 12mm to
36mm varifocal Computar megapixel
F2.8. Image settings include an
exposure window set in the middle
third of the image, horizontally
edge to edge to keep the camera from
exposing for the bright areas at the
top of the image, other settings at
default.
3. Exterior
scene, taken at night at a public
park. Illumination is exterior metal
halide lights. Inside the
racquetball courts you can see an
orange glow from normal incandescent
lighting. Lux levels not recorded.
Camera:
OKIQeye,
lens 12mm to 36mm varifocal Computar
megapixel F2.8. Image settings at
factory default. |

Bandwidth Management
IP video is data -
and no matter how you slice it,
moving data around a network and
storing data on hard drives costs
money. Bandwidth management is an
essential skill in designing cost
effective IP video systems.
OKIQinVision
has been producing megapixel IP
cameras since 2000, and we have a
mature set of bandwidth management
tools available to the system
designers and installers.
Intelligent
Cropping
- odd aspect ratios - images
that capture only what you care
about. Stop spending money
storing useless videos of trees
and grass, when all you need is
the road (or the doorway, or the
aisle). Break the boundaries of
that 4:3 CCTV box, and save
money!
Bandwidth
Throttle
- you can set a limit for each
camera, no matter what it will
not transmit more data than you
specify.
Storage
Throttle
-
OKIQlibrarian
allows you to set a maximum for
disk space usage. When you are
using
OKIQlibrarian
for recording on inexpensive
network hard drives, you can set
a ceiling on the amount of disk
used. When the limit is reached
it will either begin overwriting
the oldest video, or stop
recording and notify you via
email and live view page alerts,
your choice.
Resolution
and Frame Rate on Event
- Using
OKIQlibrarian,
you can transmit and record
video at low resolution and low
frame rates, then switch to high
resolution and frame rates when
events occur. Pre event images
are also available at the higher
resolution and rates, so you
never miss the action.
Reduced
Camera Counts
- multi-megapixel images allow
you to replace many conventional
cameras with one ultra high
resolution
OKIQeye.
One large image that covers the
same field of view as two or
three smaller images actually
uses less space - due to the
efficiency of compressing one
large image file.

Protecting Critical Government Infrastructure, Military and Homeland
Surveillance
IP Video solutions are the next wave in CCTV surveillance. The ability to
monitor your systems from anywhere, IP video solution.
Keep an eye on your critical facilities at all times.
With OkSolar’s OkIP Video Anywhere, you can monitor sites several thousand miles
away as if they were across the street. Our system facilitates remote site
surveillance through energy-independent operation and allows video to be
transmitted over IP without any physical lines being installed. Companies with
remote or hard to access assets, such as oil and gas pipelines, bridges or rural
properties, have not had an effective, economical solution for protecting those
assets. Some of the features like automated archiving allow you not only to
track construction progress in real time but also to retrieve past images which
can be used to resolve issues quickly. Remote Control for Video IP Any Where!

IP Video Anywhere! Solar Powered, wireless Got facilities you need to keep an
eye on? Oftentimes they're several miles from your headquarters and, worse, you
can't get any electricity (let alone Ethernet) to an exterior location where
you'd like to mount a camera. Companies with remote or hard to access assets,
such as oil and gas pipelines, bridges or rural properties, have not had an
effective, economical solution for protecting those assets.
